Michael L. McNitt: Mr. McNitt has worked in the successful design and management of homeowners insurance products for the Gulf and Atlantic states for more than 28 years.  A founder of Cabrillo Coastal, he holds the insurance industry designations of CPCU, AIC and ASLI from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters as well as an AB degree with honors and distinction from Stanford University, an MA from Stanford, and a Master of Public Policy degree from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.  He and his wife are the proud parents of three children as well as three dogs.

Ronda Loshonkohl: In her over 28 years of homeowners insurance experience, Ronda Loshonkohl has developed a strong expertise in underwriting and systems automation.  She trained at one of the best companies in the business, Fireman’s Fund.  Her specialized underwriting knowledge, attention to detail and systems development has allowed Cabrillo Coastal to deliver a quality product at an affordable price to our customers.  A founder of Cabrillo Coastal, Ronda lettered in track at UCLA while earning her degree.  She brings the office mascot Petey, a Cattle Dog/Lab, to work most days.

Paul Zedonis: Mr. Zedonis has been handling claims since 1970 with active involvement in over 78 catastrophes.  He has been a manager at Foremost Insurance Company and VP Claims at Aegis Security Insurance Company.  Paul holds a BA from S.U.N.Y at Geneseo plus numerous courses at Vale Technical Institute, HAAG Engineering and Penn State University.  He also is a member of The National Association of Catastrophe Adjusters with a Federal Flood certification.

John W. Rollins: Mr. Rollins has over 26 years of property-casualty insurance experience, focusing on coastal property since 1999.  An actuary by training, John has held progressively senior positions responsible for analytics, product development, personal and commercial lines underwriting and enterprise risk management.   Before joining Cabrillo he was Chief Risk Officer at Florida’s Citizens Property Insurance Corporation and Vice President – Public Risk at AIR Worldwide, and also owned and operated his own consultancy.   His wide-ranging technical experience includes pricing, loss reserving, catastrophe modeling, reinsurance and “cat bond” structuring, as well as senior roles in technology and consulting organizations.   He is the author of several prize-winning papers in actuarial journals and a frequent speaker on natural disaster public policy, having testified to the U.S. Congress, several state regulators and legislatures, and academic and media organizations.  A fourth-generation Floridian, he lives near Gainesville with his wife, children, animals, and two drag racing cars.

Jeffrey Hershman: Mr. Hershman is a 28 year veteran of the insurance industry with a specialty writing coastal homeowners business.  Jeffrey started as an Actuarial Analyst with CIGNA Property & Casualty.  He has held a number of underwriting roles in both admitted and surplus lines operations.  His most recent role was with Max Specialty Insurance Company where he developed and managed a Specialty Personal Lines program.  Jeffrey is a graduate of Temple University with a Bachelors of Business Administration.  He is an avid endurance athlete participating in triathlons, marathons, and cycling events.  Jeffrey spends his spare time as a VIP fundraiser for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.  He and his wife are the proud parents of two children and one dog.

Michael P. Knittle:  Mr. Knittle has worked in the insurance industry for 23 years gaining extensive experience in Claims, E &S, Underwriting, Sales, Product Development and Management.  After attending the University of Nebraska for Business, Mr. Knittle finished his education at San Diego State University.  Mr. Knittle has rejoined Cabrillo Coastal after owning and operating an Independent Insurance Agency in San Diego, CA, recently relocating to Gainesville, FL in 2012 with his wife and 3 children.
